Microtech's 2023 Heavy Hitters: The MSI and Stitch RAM-LOK

In this week’s blog post, we will break down the new RAM-LOK knives coming from Microtech: the MSI and the RAM-LOK Stitch.

The 2023 Microtech MSI Folding Knife

The impressive new MSI folding knife, or Microtech Standard Issue (MSI), is the perfect blend of style and function, making it an ideal addition to Microtech’s entire folding knife product collection. The MSI boasts the exclusively produced M390MK Steel blade tailor-made by Bohler at the direction of Microtech’s founder, Anthony Marfione. This incredible new steel will significantly boost durability, edge retention, and corrosion-resistant properties while enhancing its ability to take a polish – a trademark of Anthony Marfione’s more custom offerings. The MSI folding knife offers all this, plus Microtech’s viral RAM-LOK mechanism for added security and effortless blade deployment. Opening and closing these new folding knives is an addictive experience that will have the ‘fidget’ crowd constantly flipping their knives!

The new MSI from Microtech also features a G10 handle available in either Black, Tan, or OD Green. Hidden beneath the G10 material, you’ll find hardened steel liner plates that add to the structural integrity of the knife, offering strength and rigidity, enhancing its overall toughness making this piece a tactical, duty-driven powerhouse. The MSI also features a reversible pocket clip for right or left-hand carry and an iconic X button on both sides.

On the heels of the highly successful release of the MSI, the Microtech Stitch RAM-LOK catapulted its way to notoriety. This new iteration of the Stitch introduces a fresh take on the classic Borka Blades collaboration. This manual Folder has everything, from the RAM-LOK Bar Lock to the Iconic X Button and Titanium backspacer. As with the MSI, the new Stitch features G10 handles, or the optional Carbon Fiber machined handles, creating a unique look for an already exciting knife.
